Great Big Sea and the Push Stars... how could you miss a show like that? I was really excited when I found out that the two bands would be going on tour together again. I was a little disappointed that there weren't any Canadian dates, but Rochester is close enough!

The Push Stars opened the evening with a fabulous set. Chris, Dan and Ryan are quickly become popular with many GBS fans. They played "Everything Shines", after all, it was theirs first! Check out my pics of their set here.

GBS played a great show. They had people up and dancing all night long. They played many crowd favourites including Mary Mac and Old Black Rum and many songs off the new album "Something Beautiful".

Part way through the show, GBS invited Chris Trapper of the Push Stars to join them on stage. Chris sang "Sea of No Cares" as it was originally written.
